Welcome to 2016 at the TMAPosted by Mim Monkivitch, 15th February 2016
With the New Year well underway, the TMA is actively promoting and keeping an eye on our industry.
There are a number of issues we are watching and advising on around the country including apprenticeship training, road regulations for farm machinery and various State issues that impact the use and regulation of farm machinery.
We are looking forward to another strong year in the farm machinery sector across Australia and with some good Summer rain, there are reports that the forward ordering programs across a range of harvesting machinery are going very well. As usual there are some tough spots that are doing it hard, however on the whole things are in good shape. By now most of our membership subscriptions have been sent out to our regular members but we would hope that we can increase our membership this year in order to remain financial and represent you and your company at a National and State level.
Finally we would ask you to SAVE THE DATE – JULY 19th AT THE MCG for our Annual Conference.
Last year we had over 170 attend the Conference which is our largest yet and we are looking to top this number in 2016.
Dealers are especially encouraged to come along as most of the information delivered on the day relates to the business of being a dealer.
As always feel free to call or drop us a line on any matter you think we should be looking at for the industry as a whole.
