Posted by Mim Monkivitch, 09th August 2020

Getting Australian seafood from our oceans to Japanese plates just got a little easier. The International Freight Assistance Mechanism (IFAM) is pleased to announce the following new flights:

  • Brisbane to Narita with Japan Airlines departing Thursdays (commencing 20 August)
  • Narita to Brisbane with Japan Airlines departing Wednesdays (commencing 19 August)

Full details can be found in the IFAM Flight Schedule Outbound and IFAM Flight Schedule Inbound.

Remember to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and keep in regular contact with freight forwarders to access IFAM-supported flights.

IFAM still supporting regional exporters from Adelaide and Toowoomba

Exporters in regional locations, particularly Adelaide and Toowoomba still have access to IFAM-supported flights and there is capacity available. Please note, it is critically important exporters continue utilising these routes to ensure ongoing IFAM support is available and viable.

  • Adelaide to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific departing Sundays
  • Toowoomba to Singapore with Singapore Airlines departing Thursdays

Both flights can be accessed through any freight forwarder.

Full details of all IFAM-supported flights can be found in the IFAM Flight Schedule Outbound and IFAM Flight Schedule Inbound.
