The Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia is a member based industry organisation which was established over 40 years ago to represent the interests and development of importers, manufacturers and sellers of agricultural tractors and machinery in Australia. With member representing every facet of farm machinery, the TMA speaks as one voice for the industry on issues relating to government regulation and legislation, industry training and development and market sales statistics for the industry and its members.

The Australian farm machinery sales total over AUD3 billion annually and the industry employs over 30,000 people across the country. Most of our members and businesses in the industry are located in rural towns and cities throughout Australia.

The TMA is managed by a Board of Directors comprising individuals nominated from member companies, the day to day affairs of the Association are managed by the Executive Director and Office Administrator. The Board meets regularly throughout the year and the TMA conducts an annual Industry Review around July each year for all members and interested companies to review the previous year and explore the issues of the day relating to doing business in rural Australia.
